The Virgin name is a familiar one to people around the world, with the Richard Branson-founded brand used for businesses as diverse as airlines, music stores and even cola and energy drinks. It’s also the branding used for the UK’s biggest cable company.
Virgin Media is the UK’s only provider of quad-play packages, offering broadband, landline and television services alongside its mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), which was previously known as Virgin Mobile.
These connections are likely to get even faster with the company recently announcing it was boosting the download speeds of many of its superfast customers.
Virgin Media also offers business services, Wi-Fi on the London Underground and is even expanding into public Wi-Fi and small cells in urban areas.
