TechWeekEurope Launches Tech Club

TechWeekEurope is launching Tech Club – a group for our IT professional readers to share and learn through meetings, research and education.

The group kicks off with an informal drinks evening in London, on Tuesday 27 November for members and will include meetings where we present and discuss new technologies, and research into technology adoption and best practices.

The first rule of Tech Club…

IT professionals are going through a major shake-up, as new technologies threaten to change their role utterly. Those who address the new issues can create a new role for the IT department, driving fresh ways of doing business and enabling colleagues to compete better.

Our Tech Success Awards have given us plenty of insight into leading edge IT projects in the UK, and we have got to know some of the most dedicated and committed IT directors and CIOs in the country through our IT Life series of profile articles.

Now, we want all our professional readers to join Tech Club, and share what we know about the forces shaping the future of enterprise IT. To get involved we ask you to register, and complete this short survey. In future we plan to explore the key technologies shaping your job. To start with, we are asking you simply to tell us what your key concerns are and what you are planning to work on in 2013 – then come along on 27 November if you like, to talk about it in person.

Join Tech Club here and we will send you an invitation to the first meeting.

If you have time, we would be grateful if you could fill in the form below:
