Tech Club: ‘We’re Not Talking About Something As Straightforward As Money’

A week ago, TechWeekEurope readers gathered at Bar Soho in London to talk about firewalls, passwords and other things related to information security, at a quarterly Tech Club meeting.

Nigel Painter, associate director at the business consultancy MEMEology and a member of the Tech Club, helps companies provide services to the UK government. He says the process is complicated for a reason  – after all, we’re talking about life and citizenship, and not “something as straightforward as money”.

Other opinions on the topic:

David Shearmon, CEO at Cryptic: ‘People Need To Focus On Making Revenue, Not Securing The Business’.

Sat Birdi, CEO at vzInternet: ‘The Threat Landscape Is Too Big – You Have To Pick Your Battles’.
