Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini To Be Revealed 20 June
S4 Mini appears on Samsung website but is quickly removed
Samsung is set to unveil a number of new mobile devices at an event in London on 20 June, including the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, according to the Wall Street Journal.
A smaller version of the Korean manufacturer’s Samsung Galaxy S4 would hardly be a surprise given that the company released the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini shortly after the full-sized smartphone was launched last year.
It would be even less surprising now that Samsung appears to have accidentally confirmed the device’s existence on its UK website in a listing that has since been removed.
Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini arriving
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini will obviously be smaller than the S4, but it is not immediately clear what internal changes, if any, will be made.
It has been suggested the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini will be just one of a number of Android and Windows Phone-based products shown off at Earls Court in West London next month.
Samsung sells four Galaxy S4 smartphones every second and has reached the ten million shipment milestone less than a month after the handset was released.
This beat Samsung’s previous personal best, set by the Samsung Galaxy S3, which needed almost two months to sell ten million units.
Samsung is the largest smartphone manufacturer in the world with a 30.8 percent share of the global market, according to research firm Gartner, contributing to record profits of £5.2 billion in the first three months of 2013.
