Quiz Of The Week: Test Your Samsung Knowledge!

Heard about Samsung losing to Apple in a US patents trial? Think it’s all over for the Asian manufacturer? Well think again!

Samsung is a giant of a company, with its fingers in all the pies you can think of.  It’s got more than just smartphones and tablets, and even the Apple trial verdict is a fleabite to it. Even if it is upheld, the patent war is a worldwide campaign, and it’s not all going Apple’s way.

Imagine the possibilities

There is a lot to know about Samsung, and we’re going to be careful not to give too much of it away here. Don’t read this page for hints on how old or diverse the company is, or what its name means.

This week alone, Samsung has updated its Galaxy Note – an Android phone-tablet hybrid, and surprised the industry by beating Microsoft’s favourite partner Nokia, to produce the world’s first smartphone running the Windows Phone 8 operating system.

Other recent Samsung wins (neither of which feature in our quiz) include a phone which includes an LCD projector, and a starring role in the UK’s 4G roll-out.
