Good Technology Aims To Simplify BYOD With Good Work
Good Technology relesed new apps and productivity tools to make it easier to control devices on corporate networks
Good Technology says its new enterprise mobility management (EMM) app, Good Work, will make it easier for businesses of all sizes to cope with Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) environments, by working with devices of all type and operating system and securing them quickly.
The Good Work software can be deployed either on-site or through the cloud and brings information such as email, calendars, documents, contacts and messaging into a single hub, with security features protecting users from location tracking or app monitoring.
“As adoption of BYOD continues to explode, businesses of all sizes are looking for simpler, more manageable, more affordable and more secure solutions to address the complexity of dealing with hundreds – if not thousands of device types and operating systems,” says Christy Wyatt, CEO of Good.

“Good Work enables both large and mid-size businesses with an intuitive cloud-based solution, making it simple and affordable to harness the power of secure mobility to drive new business processes.”
The firm is also introducing the Good Secure Mobile Productivity Suite, a portfolio of applications that allow users to access email attachments, links and documents securely, along with the ability to edit Office documents, annotate PDFs and complete digital signatures. The suite also provides users with access to customer data in Salesforce1 cloud.
Good is a number of companies seeking to take advantage of a growing EMM market as BYOD becomes increasingly commonplace, with issues such as dual billing and the balance between work and personal use hot topics. BlackBerry, the stalwart of the industry, has identified the area as one that can help continue its recovery, while the likes of Dell, AirWatch and Samsung have all boosted their offerings in recent months.
