HTC profits might be shrinking, but its smartphones are only getting bigger, as it today launched the a 5.9-inch One Max.
It is essentially just a big version of the much-loved HTC One, but comes with certain additional features, like a new Fingerprint Scan, like the one Apple added to the iPhone 5C.
HTC One Max owners also get a complimentary 50GB of additional free Google Drive storage space.
And there’s a 2.1MP front-facing camera. There is just one option for colour: Glacial Silver.
It comes with Sense 5.5, HTC’s layer sitting above the Android operating system, which comes with features like BlinkFeed, which allows for up to 120 articles to be downloaded for offline viewing.
“The addition of the HTC One Max means that we now have an HTC One phone for everyone. The family has been built on quality and game-changing innovations and the HTC One Max is certainly no exception,” said Peter Chou, CEO of HTC.
The device will land this month, but no specific date has been given.
