Czech Republic Cloud Development Centre Opened By NetSuite
Netsuite’s development centre in the Czech Republic will focus on marketing its services and partners’ products
Cloud software services provider NetSuite announced that it has opened Europe’s first IT development centre dedicated to building cloud ERP-based business management software packages.
The European Cloud Development Center is located in Brno in the Czech Republic and will focus on marketing NetSuite’s cloud application services and its partners’ products to global companies. Brno is the Czech Republic’s second-largest city and in just the last three years has become a destination for high-tech companies seeking qualified talent in Central Europe.
Focus On Software Engineering
Offices will be established in the South Moravian Innovation Centre incubator, the company said. The Innovation Centre aims to promote entrepreneurship and commercialisation of research and development in the region.
Netsuite’s centre will provide in-house business support, finance, legal and business development experts, access to networking and funding, and comprehensive incubator and academic cooperation programmes.
During the next year, NetSuite CEO Zach Nelson said, the company will hire about 100 new employees at that location who will concentrate on software engineering and development across the company’s product catalogue, with particular focus on ERP, e-commerce, CRM, and mobile applications.
“After much research, we chose to locate the NetSuite European Cloud Development Center in Brno, Czech Republic,” Nelson said. “The city’s strong universities, rich history, and deep roster of other international IT leaders make Brno uniquely suited to meet our requirements for world-class engineering talent.”
