Canon has announced the addition of five Pixma printers with a new Full High Definition Movie Print feature.
In addition to this technology, the new models will feature improvements to Auto Photo Fix II to further enhance photographs while Easy-PhotoPrint EX software now allows users to search and use images from Flickr.
Now when using the Full HD Movie Print with compatible HD Canon EOS and PowerShot Digital cameras, consumers can print individual frames of movies.
The MG5220 and MP495 Wireless Photo All-in-One printer, MG5120 and MP280 Photo All-in-One (AIO) printers along with the iP4820 Inkjet printer also offer many improvements, including Easy-WebPrint EX software upgrades and a Fit-to-One-Page button for easy printing of texts and images from Websites, useful when printing driving directions so both the map of the area and the step-by-step directions are on one page.
The software will also provide printing of multiple documents into a booklet format, while images can be inserted into the print layouts allowing users to personalise their information.
Featuring five individual ink tanks with the ChromaLife100+ ink system, the MG5220 Wireless Photo AIO Printer ($149.99) has a maximum color resolution of 9600 x 2400 dpi and Advanced Media Handling capabilities with Auto Duplex printing and a two-way paper feed. The MP495 Wireless Photo AIO printer ($79.99) offers a maximum color resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi and features Auto Scan Mode, which automatically recognizes the type of original, then scans and saves the suitable settings. The MG5120 ($129.99) and MP280 Photo AIO Printers ($69.99) both of which feature the ChromaLife100+ ink system.
The MG5120 Photo AIO Printer offers a maximum color resolution of 9600 x 2400 dpi and the MP280 Photo AIO Printer offers a maximum color resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi. The MG5120 also features the same Advanced Media Handling options as the MG5220 AIO Printer, which can help users reduce their use of paper. The iP4820 Inkjet Printer, priced at $99.99, the printer has the ability to Auto Duplex print and has two-way paper feeds as well, in addition to five individual ink tanks working in conjunction with the ChromaLife100+ ink system.
