BMC Buys Coradiant For User And App Monitoring
BMC has acquired a specialist in user experience and application performance monitoring
IT service management software specialist BMC has revealed that it has acquired Coradiant, a fellow specialist in user experience and web application performance monitoring.
Terms of the transaction were not made available.
BMC said Coradiant’s web application software will add new dimensions to its management platform.
Application Tracking
Coradiant enables users to track the performance of on-premises, virtualised and cloud-based applications so as to determine if web software is causing problems that impact the business.
The acquisition enables BMC to offer businesses a full view of service performance – from the end-user’s experience/behaviour to deep into the infrastructure. By monitoring the end-user’s experience, organisations can protect revenue, enhance productivity and ensure operational stability for their applications.
Founded in 2007, San Diego, California-based Coradiant had raised $42 million (£25 million) in venture capital.
