Acer hopes its first two Windows 10 devices, the “ultra-portable” Aspire One Cloudbook 11 and 14, will be able to take on Google’s Chromebooks when they go on sale in October.
Featuring a super-thin fanless design measuring just 17.9mm across, the two Cloudbooks come with HDMI, USB3.0, USB2.0, and SD Card ports to allow them to connect up to your existing devices.
Along with Windows 10 Home edition, both devices also come with a one-year subscription of Office 365 Personal and up to 1TB free OneDrive online storage.
“The Aspire One Cloudbook series is the perfect answer for those looking for an online-oriented and portable notebook with a full Windows experience,” said Acer UK’s head of marketing, Linda Hassall. “With cloud-enabled services such as Microsoft Office 365, OneDrive, and Acer’s Build Your Own Cloud (BYOC), consumers can enjoy the convenience and value the cloud brings with these exciting new products.”
The Cloudbook 11 will be available for £179.99, with its bigger brother the Cloudbook 14 coming in at £199.99.
