10 Of The Best 2-in-1 Laptops For Business

  1. Asus Chromebook Flip

The Chromebook revolution is represented here by Asus and their marvellous Flip device. By running Google’s operating system it’s already positioned itself as a genuine alternative to the other Windows 10entries on this list, but the Flip stands out in othjer ways too.

There’s its excellent Touchscreen functionality (which rotates at your will), the excellent battery life (up to 10 hours), and the novel and very proficient Chrome OS, that offers a chance to escape from the usual Windows or Mac systems that we’ve all become a little too accustomed to.

  1. Microsoft Surface Book

The Surface Book has been praised for showcasing Windows 10 at its best, and, for that reason alone, it’s worth a minute or two of your consideration time at the very least. Its svelte, attractive design will get your purring (as will its 13.5 inch screen), and that’s before you’ve even booted it up to see what’s inside: offering the power of a Windows notebook and the versatility of a tablet.

It differs from the standard Surface by offering a genuine keyboard which also houses an additional battery – boosting mobile working efforts – and in its price. This could arguably be the best 2 in 1 around, but it is far from the cheapest.

  1. Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga

The ThinkPad X1 Yoga, which, while admittedly a bit of a mouthful, is a hugely-impressive hybrid device. You’ll find much to love with the ThinkPad X1 Yoga: there’s a stunning display, excellent mobile broadband capabilities, and even a rechargeable (and very smart) stylus pen. If cost isn’t an issue, then this could be a genuine challenger to Microsoft at the top end of the market.

  1. HP Spectre x360

Offering “uninhibited freedom”, the HP Spectre x360s’ headline feature is its 360-degree hinge. It promises an ‘ultra slim’ design, 12 and a half hours of battery life and powerful Intel Skylake processor, along with superfast Wi-Fi. Again, it doesn’t come cheap, but this device could take you very far indeed.

  1. Toshiba Satellite Radius 15

Rounding off our look at the best hybrid devices for business is Toshiba’s creation. And “look” is definitely the USP here: equipped with a stunning 4k screen, it’s a grand addition to the hybrid device market in that should signal a general movement towards future two-in-ones carrying the same sort of visual technology. OK, so there have been complaints about its short battery life and slightly-inferior levels of performance when compared to its direct competitors, but – look at the screen! Look at the 4k possibilities! If you need a device for show, Toshiba have certainly got you covered.

The Tohsiba Satellite Radius stands out for one major reason: It’s 4K screen. It’s a great addition to the hybrid market and one that could tempt wider adoption in the future. This might have an impact on battery life and it might have slightly less power than its competitors – but look at the screen. It might be more of a device for business travel than the nitty gritty, but that might be what you’re looking for.
