While a bank holiday may have subtracted a working day in this week for may UK citizens, it’s still been full of tech news, notably a massive British Airways IT outage.

Other disasters hit, with one password management company suffering a major data breach, and an email error that spread panic amongst final year Edinburgh University students who were mistakenly informed they would not graduate this year.
