At The Montreal Group Annual Summit on September 15, Reily will discuss how alternative data and innovative technologies are improving financial institutions’ reach to underserved small and midsize enterprises (SMEs). This session will highlight global case studies and strategies for overcoming barriers to financial inclusion. Reily will be accompanied by Namrata Rao, CEO of Jocata, and Anderson Pereira, CEO and co-founder of Kapitale. Following Reily’s presentation at The Montreal Group Annual Summit, he will participate in three panel discussions at the Global SME Finance Forum on September 16 and 18, including:

  1. Innovation Hub: Digital and Embedded Finance: A panel discussing the opportunities for digital banks and fintech to play a bigger role in increasing access to financial services for SMEs
  2. Digitizing the SME Ecosystem: A conversation focusing on modernizing SME financial practices
  3. Mitigating Risk with AI-powered Analysis of Alternative Data: A roundtable where banks and fintechs will share their experience using AI to analyze various data sets

The Global SME Finance Forum is hosted by the SME Finance Forum, a network of over 300 leading banks, non-banking financial institutions, fintechs and development banks, created by the G20 in 2012 and managed by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group.
