UKG, a leading provider of HR, payroll, and workforce management solutions for all people, today announced that UKG Ready has been named a Leader in the NelsonHall NEAT report for Next Generation HCM Technology in the SMB Market Focus. In the report, UKG Ready was positioned highly for both the ability to deliver immediate benefits to customers and the ability to meet future customer requirements.

NelsonHall is a leading business process and IT services research firm. The NelsonHall Vendor Evaluation and Assessment Tool — commonly known as NEAT — provides an in-depth analysis of the HCM market.

“UKG has been a valued partner in helping us achieve key efficiencies through onboarding, talent acquisition, and learning management, and this is a big win as our growth trajectory is to double our revenue and increase our headcount over the next four years,” said John Georgatos, chief information officer at Mike Morse Law Firm. “We found a partner in UKG to help us lay this strong foundation for growth, and we believe our successes with UKG can serve as a model for other organizations that are struggling with similar technology challenges that we faced.”

According to the report, UKG Ready is “a robust, full-suite HCM platform that rivals enterprise-level platforms with advanced workforce management technology, AI-enabled scheduling, and leave management, while providing the ease and intuitiveness needed by small business owners.” The report also states UKG Ready provides “embedded AI and machine learning capabilities integrated throughout its full suite.”

The NelsonHall report further credits UKG for focusing on innovations in three key areas:

  • Great Experiences, with candidate cultivation, gig marketplaces, hyper-personalized journeys, communication tools, and employee resource groups;

  • Great People, with peer-to-peer time-off donations, charitable giving campaigns, career coaching, employee development, and prescriptive leadership action guidance; and

  • Great Place to Work, with autonomous scheduling, extensive DEI&B features, financial wellness applications, and Great Place To Work® certifications.

“NelsonHall has identified UKG Ready as an HCM technology Leader in the SMB market,” said DeeAnna Warrington, principal research analyst in NelsonHall’s HR technology and services practice. “Bolstered by an approach that is focused on meeting the needs of the employee and the business, plus insights from Great Place To Work, UKG empowers lean and growing HR teams with flexible, enterprise-grade solutions to create workplaces that easily adapt to individual needs.”

UKG Pro was also named a Leader in NelsonHall’s Enterprise Market NEAT for large businesses.

“We believe everybody deserves an employee experience that maximizes their productivity and efficiency and lets them focus on the parts of their job that really matter,” said Hugo Sarrazin, chief product and technology officer at UKG. “Whether you work for a small business or a large enterprise, we’re committed to people-first suites that help our customers create great places to work for all employees.”
