Ryan, a leading global tax services and software provider, has been ranked the number one company on the Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania list in the large employer category. This marks the Firm’s 13th consecutive year to be recognized.
“Our team members are truly the key to success as they’ve created a workplace that drives excellence and collaboration and builds trust among one another and our clients,” said Ginny Kissling, Global President and Chief Operating Officer at Ryan. “We sincerely thank each of our Pennsylvania team members for their hard work and dedication. You have built an environment that has set Ryan apart for more than a decade.”
Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania identifies, recognizes, and honors the best places of employment in Pennsylvania in three categories: small employer (15–99 employees), medium employer (100–249), and large employer (250 or more). To be considered, companies must meet the following criteria:
- Be a publicly or privately held business
- Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity
- Have a facility in the state of Pennsylvania
- Have at least 15 full- or part-time employees working in Pennsylvania
- Be in business a minimum of one year
In partnership with Central Penn Business Journal and Lehigh Valley Business, the Best Companies Group (BCG) includes a two-part survey to analyze and determine the winners. The first consists of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics, which is worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consists of an employee survey to measure the employee experience, which is worth 75% of the total. The combined scores determine the top companies and the final ranking.
“This year’s Best Places to Work in PA have established a positive environment for innovative teams to thrive. These organizations put their employees first by innovating new benefits and programs,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media/Central Penn Business Journal and Lehigh Valley Business. “We are pleased to join with the Best Companies Group to recognize this year’s winners.”
