Roger draws on 30+ years’ experience as a thought leader in the automotive and mobility sectors. Currently, Roger is president of the Mobile Satellite Users Association and CEO and Founder of StrategiaNow Consulting. As Director of Automotive Connected Mobility at TechInsights for more than 12 years, Roger advised global automakers, suppliers, and technology companies on strategies to address emerging trends in connectivity, electrification, and autonomous driving. His work has been instrumental in shaping industry dialogues around data privacy, consent management, and leveraging connected vehicle technologies for safety and innovation. Roger is a frequent speaker at industry events and writer on automotive technology.

“AiDEN is leading the way in addressing one of the automotive industry’s most pressing challenges: consumer data privacy and transparency,” said Roger Lanctot. “They are a thought leader in this whole privacy debate, bringing clarity and transparency around data hygiene, control, and sharing protocols. While much of the industry remains focused on monetizing data, AiDEN is putting the consumer first—giving individuals the ability to control their data, make informed decisions, and benefit from value-driven services. It’s a shift that is long overdue, and I’m thrilled to support their mission.”

AiDEN Automotive is transforming how data is managed and shared within the connected vehicle ecosystem. Traditional models aggregate consumer data without transparency or consent, leaving individuals disconnected from decisions about how their information is used. AiDEN’s vision centers on consent management, customer control, and transparency—giving consumers the power to decide how and when their data is shared while unlocking new opportunities for automakers to deliver personalized, value-added services.

With partnerships that prioritize driver safety and a commitment to revolutionizing data protocols, AiDEN’s platform addresses the critical need for trust and collaboration between consumers, automakers, and service providers. By focusing on dynamic, application-level consent, AiDEN ensures that every driver can customize their data-sharing preferences in real-time, enabling a seamless and secure connected vehicle experience.

“At AiDEN, we believe that data sharing should be transparent, informed, and always focused on delivering value to the consumer,” said Niclas Gyllenram, CEO of AiDEN. “Roger’s expertise in data privacy, connected technology, and the future of mobility aligns perfectly with our mission. Together, we aim to redefine industry standards and lead the way toward a more consumer-centric approach to connected vehicle innovation.”

As the automotive industry faces growing scrutiny over data privacy and monetization practices, AiDEN is championing a new standard for transparency and customer control. By empowering consumers with the tools to manage their data and delivering safety-focused innovations, AiDEN is setting the stage for a future where connected vehicles are as secure and user-friendly as the mobile devices we use every day.
