Riverbed Community Connect Week to Support Dozens of Charities Globally

Riverbed, the leader in Unified Observability, today announced the start of Riverbed Community Connect Week 2023, a company-wide employee volunteer effort aimed at creating a meaningful impact in the communities where employees live and work globally. Riverbed’s Community Connect Week takes place November 13-17, and will feature Riverbed employee team volunteer events in more than 10 major cities around the world, as well as additional smaller group projects in dozens of additional cities. During Community Connect Week, and adjacent weeks around the holidays, Riverbed expects to provide approximately 2,000 hours of community service, supporting dozens of charities worldwide.

Riverbed Community Connect Week is an extension of Riverbed’s global employee volunteer paid leave program, Community Connect. Launched last year, the Community Connect program provides employees up to five days to volunteer with non-profit organizations in countries across the world.

Riverbed Community Connect volunteers will participate in group projects in the following cities this week:

  • U.S.: San Francisco; San Jose, CA; Bethesda, MD; Nashua, New Hampshire; New York City; Reston, VA and Durham, NC

  • EMEA: Bracknell, UK; Cluj, Romania; Munich, Germany

  • APJ: Bangalore and Singapore

Additionally, hundreds of employees in smaller offices or working out of home offices are volunteering at local projects in their communities and virtually.
