Proficium LLC (“Proficium”), the Bay Area-based optical networking and cable supplier to hyperscale and AI-based data centers, today announced the hiring of Brian Patton as its Chief Technology Officer, effective immediately.
In his role, Patton will oversee the design, development, and implementation of high-end connectivity products for the fastest-growing markets in technology.

Previously, Patton spent 13 years as the Vice President of Engineering at Approved Networks, where he was vital to the growth of brands US Critical, Approved Networks, and Champion One; leaders in their respective optical networking markets. Most recently, he served as VP of Engineering at Approved Networks, a brand of Legrand, following its acquisition by Legrand in 2020.
