The National IT Industry Promotion Agency (President Hur Sung-wook, hereinafter referred to as “NIPA”) has announced that it operates an overseas export consultation event from December 4 to 6. As part of the ‘Smart Service Creation Base Expansion’ project, this event aims to provide Korean ICT companies marketing opportunities and help them to enter the global market.
* ICTWOW (WORLD ONLINE ICT SHOW): A regular business-matching platform that bridges ICT companies with international buyers. It provides a range of services, including seller-buyer matchmaking, online exhibition halls, and export consultation support.
The Smart Service Creation Base Expansion Project is set to host both online and offline export consultations. Designed to revitalize the ICT sector and strengthen national technological capabilities, these consultations will invite international buyers to Korea and showcase the advanced products and solutions offered by Korean ICT companies.
Notably, this consultation event has garnered significant interest within the industry, as its participants are given a chance to take part in Soft Wave 2024. Sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT and NIPA, Soft Wave is widely recognized as a premier platform that offers a comprehensive overview of digital transformation and showcases major technology companies at home and abroad.
Twelve participants selected for the ICTWOW export consultation will benefit from opportunities such as one-on-one meetings with international buyers, participation in the Soft Wave exhibition, and support for their individual exhibition booths. These benefits are expected to contribute to expanding their export capabilities and establishing a foundation for sustained growth.
