Modulim,
recognized leader in optical imaging solutions for non-invasive
assessment of tissue health, will exhibit its groundbreaking Clarifi
Imaging System publicly for the first time this week at the Symposium on
Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) Spring Meeting in San Antonio, Texas.

Powered by Modulim’s proprietary optical imaging technique – spatial
frequency domain imaging (SFDI) – Clarifi offers clinicians a fast,
reliable, and objective method of assessing tissue oxygenation and
perfusion in patients with potential circulatory compromise. The
technology helps clinicians characterize subsurface tissue beneath the
skin to evaluate compromised circulation, which has been known to
contribute to conditions such as critical limb ischemia, non-healing
wounds and foot complications.

The SAWC
Spring
| Wound Healing Society event (running May 7-11, 2019)
features new cutting-edge topics led by influential educators and
thought leaders in wound healing to further move the wound care
community forward, and create a dynamic and unified voice to support the
shared mission of improving patient care.

“It is exciting to be unveiling our Clarifi system at SAWC this year,”
said David Cuccia, Ph.D., Modulim’s founding CEO and CTO. “As we ramp up
our national launch and commercialization process for Clarifi, it’s
remarkable to be able to provide a hands-on opportunity for clinicians
to see how it works. Attendees will gain a sense of how this vital new
tool can impact their practice and patient care.”

“Our mission is prevention,” added Cuccia. “To that end, our technology
is designed to provide clinicians with clinically actionable information
to identify patients with compromised circulation, and pinpoint the
potential areas of concern, so that targeted care can be implemented.”

Live, hands-on demos of Clarifi will be available at Modulim’s booth
(#120) on the exhibit floor throughout the SAWC event.

About Modulim:

Modulim is a pioneer in subsurface optical imaging powered by SFDI,
an advanced imaging technique co-invented by founding CEO and CTO David
Cuccia, Ph.D. SFDI is a non-invasive tissue oxygen saturation technology
that combines structured illumination with multiple wavelengths of light
(visible and near-infrared) to allow for deeper and layer-specific
assessment of tissue oxygenation and hemoglobin. This unique technology
deciphers the reflection, absorbance, and scattering of light in tissue
to accurately measure key biomarkers of tissue health and quantifies two
key perfusion metrics not identified by any other technology: HbT
1
and HbT
2. Modulim’s new Clarifi Imaging
System
, powered by SFDI, is indicated for measuring tissue
oxygenation and perfusion in patients with potential circulatory
compromise. With its’ widespread adoption, this approach could save
thousands of limbs and lives, as well as billions of dollars in
treatment costs. For more information, visit
