HealthLock, a leading medical fraud and overbilling protection solution, today announced its appointment of two seasoned executives to its leadership team: Adam Hewitt as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and David Putnam as Chief Growth Officer (CGO). Both leaders will usher in initiatives to increase awareness of HealthLock and cultivate the customer experience to meet the needs of consumers in today’s complex healthcare landscape.
As CRO, Hewitt brings specialty knowledge in the benefits administration space complemented by deep roots in private wealth and commercial banking. His strategic mindset and comprehensive understanding of revenue management will drive the identification of new growth opportunities and optimization of revenue streams, ensuring the company remains financially robust.
As CGO, Putnam will spearhead initiatives to expand HealthLock’s market reach, unlocking new opportunities and sustainably accelerating its growth trajectory. Drawing on his extensive background in scaling businesses – from established brands like Yahoo to early-stage enterprises – Putnam will be instrumental in cultivating strategic partnerships and engineering envelope-pushing, customer-centric product design.
“We couldn’t have found a better match for our leadership team and the future of our business,” said HealthLock CEO Scott Speranza. “Our ethos revolves around helping people. Because when it comes down to it, we make a real difference in people’s lives – whether it’s lowering medical bills today or warding off fraudulent claims tomorrow. Both David and Adam are not just core to that philosophy, but the powerhouses we need to ensure HealthLock’s offerings are as beneficial as possible.”
Before joining HealthLock, CRO Hewitt spent more than a decade with Pinnacle Financial Partners, most recently in the role of health and benefits program manager, SVP. He helped build and lead the company’s acclaimed Pinnacle Health & Benefits program, which landed the firm a coveted spot among Devenir’s top 20 U.S. HSA providers within three years of launch – a significant accomplishment against the backdrop of severe deposit challenges many U.S. financial institutions experienced at the time.
Prior to Putnam taking the CGO role, he served as the head of identity and insurance products for almost a decade under the Gen umbrella of brands, which includes LifeLock, Norton, Avast and AVG. In his capacity, Putnam orchestrated substantial revenue growth, driving the LifeLock business unit from $900 million to over $1.1 billion in just three years – largely achieved through his knack for knowing what customers want, which significantly increased customer count and retention rates.
