Acumatica today announced it is collaborating with the LPGA Foundation to champion young women breaking barriers in golf and STEM with the LPGA Foundation Scholarship presented by Acumatica. The scholarship aims to support female high school seniors interested in pursuing a STEM-focused education. By backing these trailblazing students, Acumatica hopes to empower the next generation of women leaders in fields where they have historically been underrepresented.
“We’re proud to partner with the LPGA Foundation to support educational pathways for women in STEM,” said Martha-Lucia Groulx, chief people officer at Acumatica. “We hope to inspire and empower the next generation of women leaders to seize new opportunities and make a lasting impact. This scholarship embodies our commitment to driving meaningful change in business and the communities we serve.”
Acumatica and the LPGA Foundation will award two $10,000 scholarships in the spring of 2025 and two $10,000 scholarships in the spring of 2027 to female high school seniors pursuing a full-time, STEM-focused course of study at an accredited college or university in the United States. Each scholarship will be disbursed as $5,000 per academic year. The winners from 2025 will be eligible to reapply for the scholarship in 2027.
The application process for the 2025 scholarship is now open. Interested applicants can review the eligibility criteria and submit their scholarship application by visiting https://bit.ly/AcumaticaLPGAScholarship. The application deadline is January 31, 2025.
“Since its founding, the LPGA Foundation has impacted more than one million lives through its various programs and scholarship and financial assistance programs,” expressed Nancy Henderson, President of the LPGA Foundation. “We’re excited to work with Acumatica because the company shares our vision of advancing educational and leadership opportunities for women.”
The LPGA Foundation Scholarship presented by Acumatica deepens the company’s ties to and support of women’s golf, illustrated by sponsorship agreements with top women professional golfers, including Lilia Vu and Jessica Korda. In addition, Acumatica will again sponsor Women’s Leadership Day during the CME Group Tour Championship on November 22. Acumatica Chief People Officer Martha-Lucia Groulx and board member Nancy Harris will be featured speakers at the event.
