Consultant Connect is a medtech company that helps clinicians to decide the right care for their patients through immediate access to specialist advice. In the eight years since Jonathan cofounded Consultant Connect, it has grown to cover over half of the NHS. The company has continued to innovate from its initial “phone a clinician” model and has since introduced a number of new services to the NHS, including teledermatology at scale and an on-demand network of remote specialist consultants able to give advice and review patient referrals. Before Consultant Connect, Jonathan founded a couple of other medical businesses: JPen Medical, the first company to deliver medical equipment testing and calibration onsite at GP practices, and eSupplies Medical, a ground-breaking supplies company that uses technology to improve efficiency and reduce costs in the NHS.
