Leak Provides First Look At Samsung’s 2015 Tablet Range
Could this be the shape of things to come in 2015 for Samsung?
A fortnight into 2015, and already leaks are springing in Samsung’s rumour rowboat.
Trusted industry tipster SamMobile published a report yesterday claiming that Samsung is currently forging ahead with new tablets for the Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Note lines.
The blog even provided eight model numbers that it said belonged to the new devices – four belonging to the Galaxy Tab range, and the other four for the Galaxy Note.
In progress?
If eight sounds like a lot, it’s likely because the South Korean company will be introducing a small and large version of each new tablet, as well as a Wi-Fi and cellular model of each.
So when might we see actual concrete evidence of these tablets? We’d bet that if Samsung really is hard at work, it may pull the cloak at Mobile World Congress in March.
The company traditionally boasts a strong presence at the show, so we should be treated to a slew of new devices.
When the newest Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Note tablets finally do ship later this year, they will likely run the latest version of Google’s OS Android 5.0 Lollipop.
