Samsung’s New Galaxy Devices Get Leaked Again

An image purporting to be an official press shot of the rumoured Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+ (pictured below) was published on Twitter over the weekend by notorious leakster Evan Blass, aka @evleaks.

This comes ahead of a Samsung event in New York next week where the company is expected to officially launch both devices.

Let slip

Blass also revealed some details regarding the devices’ hardware, stating that the Note 5 will feature a 5.66 inch, 2560 x 1440 display similar to its predecessor.

Inside, the device will be powered by an octa-core Exynos 7420 processor, 4GB RAM, and 32GB of storage, and will also pack a 16MP rear and 5MP front camera.

The company’s S Pen stylus accessory was also included in the photo, suggesting that Samsung still sees this as a must-have for the device.

However, as the device now features a metal and glass body, this means there is no removable rear panel, and hence no slot for a microSD card to upgrade its internal storage.

At first glance, there doesn’t appear to be any perceptible difference between the Galaxy S6 Edge+ image and our view of its predecessor, which was first released at Mobile World Congress earlier this year, so we’ll have to wait until next week to find out more.

Reports have suggested it will pack some seriously powerful hardware, including a Snapdragon 808 processor and 32GB of internal storage.
