Samsung is planning the launch of a super-flexible smartphone with a foldable display, according to leaked images.
Images leaked on to Chinese social media site Weibo show a new Samsung device which is able to fold in two to be carried around, with screens on both sides.
The device, which has apparently been in development for more than a year, is codenamed ‘Project Valley’.
The company does have previous experience in building flexible displays, having shown off its Youm concept folding device back in 2011, and recently released the curved display Galaxy S6 Edge device back in March.
Earlier this year, LG also revealed a concept “Active Bending” device featuring an edge-to-edge curved display, and released the G Flex 2 smartphone, which sported a curved build designed to fit into a user’s hand.
