Google Cloud has pushed out its developer diagnostic service Cloud Trace into beta. The tool aids developers in analysing performance issues by finding the traces for slow requests in applications.
Cloud Trace was announced last June at the Google I/O conference, and provides detailed reports on where time is spent in applications while processing slow requests.
Writing on the Google Cloud platform blog, Pratul Dublish, product manager, said: “Awesome performance of your application is critical for end user satisfaction and retention. User expectations for application performance are already high and applications with poor performance risk losing users.

Its trace analysis feature allows you to see the latency distribution for your application, and find the painfully slow requests that may be affecting only a small number of your users.”
