The Systems Thinking Summit

Thinking, learning and working together to boost business is not rocket science, and to prove it, the Systems Thinking Summit 2012 is welcoming the man who teaches rocket scientists how to think.

Dr Bill Bellows is dedicated to giving insight into how people can think beyond systems thinking and make the most of its benefits. An Associate Fellow in the InThinking Network at United Technologies’ Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne business unit in Canoga Park, California, he works with real-life rocket scientists to teach them how to take an holistic approach to their work in order to make problem solving a positive habit.

As the keynote speaker at the Systems Thinking Summit 2012, he will be addressing delegates on how they can ‘think like rocket scientists’ and see the relationships between every process and practice in their work.

The conference is the brain wave of Dr Emma Langman, Co-Founder of Great Insiders, Change Magician at Progression Partnership and Visiting Fellow in Systems Engineering and Systems Learning and Leadership at the University of Bristol.

Pulling ideas together from suggestions within the Great Insiders Tribe, she and Louise have created a two-day event that is packed full of top speakers that is focused on helping delegates create change that sticks.

Speaker confirmed include:
• Dr Bill Bellows – Beyond systems thinking – and now you can tell your friends it is rocket science!
• Prof Dave Snowden – A serious brain, a great sense of humour, wonderful story-teller – and Welsh genes!
• Dr Emma Langman – Witty, practical – and free of jargon and artificial colourings!
• Dave Gaster – Passionate about the Public Sector – without bashing the private sector; determined pragmatist.
• Geoff Hunt – Entertaining presenter who turns what can seem a very ‘dry’ subject into useful ideas to take away an use
• Julian Simcox – Even if you think you hate Maths, you’ll see pictures where you once saw numbers with Julian!
• Ian Roderick – If you thought ‘Systems’ meant Lean – prepare for a mind-widening time with Ian’s take on Systems Thinking!
