DigiWorld Summit 2016

The 38^th annual DigiWorld Summit organized by IDATE DigiWorld, leading European think tank focused on the digital economy, will take place next Nov. 15-17 in France, on the theme “The Digital Trust Economy”.

An opportunity to engage in a meaningful international debate over digital trust issues – starting with security and privacy – which have become major sources of concern for all of the ecosystem’s stakeholders :

• Are we reaching a tolerance threshold for online trust?
• How can veteran digital industry players (equipment suppliers, telcos, IT companies) capitalise on the current climate?
• Are verticals threatened by the situation or, on the contrary, on the winning side of trust and security issues?
• Do we need a new regulatory framework to govern, or reassure, market players and consumers?

The DigiWorld Summit welcomes each year more than 120 international speakers – all CxOs and experts from the digital and vertical sectors – and +1200 decision-makers mainly from Europe, the US and Asia to share their views and experience during the two-day plenary sessions and thematic forums, making the event a central platform to talk about the future of our digital economy
