London, 20 July 2012: IP EXPO, the UK’s number one end-to-end IT infrastructure event, will be the one place to offer businesses a comprehensive view of the technology stack when its doors open at Earls Court 2 in London on 17 and 18 October 2012.
With attendance expected to exceed last year’s figures of 12,000, the two day event will offer IT decision makers all the very latest solutions for IP Networks, Wireless, Storage, Virtualization, Cloud Computing and Security under one roof.
Among the many features for IP EXPO 2012 will be the IP EXPO Labs, which will offer attendees practical and interactive sessions, covering a range of cloud, virtualization and storage topics, ideal for those looking to really experience the changing future of IT.
IP EXPO’s extensive seminar programme will cover: business transformation; the cloud; communications & mobility; optimisation; virtualization; security & governance; and big data. Delegates will also benefit from keynote addresses by industry-leaders and experts.
Big data and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) are key themes for IP EXPO 2012, as more and more businesses look to the opportunities these can provide, such as agility, growth and innovation. The Big Data Theatre sponsored by NetApp will arm IT teams with the knowledge to prepare for big data. Other theatres include the Network Optimisation Theatre sponsored by Brocade, which offers advice on industry developments allowing enterprises to maximise productivity and profitability.
Elsewhere at IP EXPO, visitors will have the unique opportunity of meeting with VMware and a range of partners in the VMware Partner Zone. In the Citrix Mobility and Cloud Zone attendees will be able to explore Citrix solutions and partners. Another highlight will be the Datacentre Showcase, where delegates will have a hands-on experience of Panduit’s Unified Physical Infrastructuresm.
Delegates can plan those seminars and stands they wish to see using MY VISIT, a service which also offers independent advice about which exhibitors to visit. The MY VISIT mobile app features IP EXPO news, all exhibitor and seminar information, and videos and presentations of any seminars that delegates may have missed over the two days. To ensure visitors have a relaxed and productive experience, 10% of IP EXPO is dedicated to seating and lounges.
“IP EXPO is the ultimate reference tool for any business looking to improve its IT infrastructure,” says Hugh Keeble, managing director of IP EXPO organisers, Imago Techmedia. “Offering the most comprehensive gathering of industry leaders, vendors, integrators and experts in one place, IP EXPO allows companies to conduct months of desk research in just two days.
“This year will be our biggest event ever as more businesses realise the benefits of being able to view and experience IP solutions first-hand as well as learning from IP experts and thought leaders.”
