Everyone loves Christmas, and the tech industry is no exception. Asides from being a major money-spinner for the electronics and gadget markets, the holidays can also be a great time for companies to give something back to their employees or customers.
Plus, the cold and wintry weather outside gives us a great excuse to stay indoors and get acquainted with our good friend television, alongside its growing brethren of smartphone and tablet devices.
But alongside the joy, Christmas is also a popular time for cybercriminals to target unwary consumers, as shoppers hunt for bargains and can be tempted into spending money. We’ve already seen a host of holiday-themed malware this year, so be on your guard if you still have shopping to do!
2014 has been an incredible year for technology, as the industry continues to make leaps and bounds in progress.
