It’s been a big week for EMC. The server and storage company has been acquired in the biggest enterprise tech deal of all time, being bought for $67bn (£43bn) by PC giant Dell.

The repercussions of the deal have been felt across the IT industry, but it will be a while yet before we find out if private company Dell’s bold move will pay off.
