Oracle Wants To Make Your Data More Visual Than Ever

Oracle has revealed a new data visualisation cloud service as it looks to make analytics in the cloud better-looking and more open than ever before.

The Oracle Data Visualisation Cloud Service, announced today at the Oracle OpenWorld 2015 event in San Francisco, will allow the creation of rich, powerful visual analytics accessible to every business user.

Oracle says that the new system, which is available from today, is simple to use, and will not require any expert IT resources to understand, meaning workers on all levels will be able to benefit.

Richer

“Adoption and usage patterns at our 400+ Business Intelligence Cloud Service customers confirm that fast, easy-to-use data visualisation is critical to their businesses,” said Hari Sankar, Oracle’s group vice president of business analytics.

“Oracle Data Visualisation Cloud Service makes data visualisation 100 per cent self-service, empowering business users to go from raw data to actionable business insights in just a few minutes. This new service delivers rich visual analysis, rapid discovery of insights and secure collaboration, enabling fact-based decisions at every level of the organisation.”

The new service will be able to analyse and blend enterprise, personal or big data with just a few clicks, cutting out the need to wade through mountains of information and uncovering new patterns and trends quickly.

It will allow users to combine data from a variety of sources, including SaaS applications from Oracle and others, on-premises systems, external sources and personal files.

The findings can then be shared and analysed on mobile, tablet and desktop devices, enabling flexible access whilst on the move for all employees.
